News: Get involved in Ready Hubs

Posted on: January 17th, 2013

Schools from three of Rotherham’s learning communities are involved in an exciting new initiative to develop enterprising opportunities. Clifton, Wingfield and Winterhill schools are involved in developing ‘Ready Hubs’, which involve groups of young people, parents, businesses, and other organisations interested in creating enterprising opportunities and activities.

Enterprise isn’t just about running a business; it’s about developing confidence and skills that help in any area of life. Ready Hubs are being developed in partnership with Rotherham Ready, the town’s award winning enterprise programme.

An information session is being held for anyone who would like to be involved or find out more about the work of Ready Hubs. Not only is this positive for children and young people in schools but also their families and the wider community.

Come along to one of the three information sessions on Saturday 26th January at the My Place building, St Ann’s Road, Rotherham, S65 1PH. The sessions will provide information about the Ready Hubs, how you can support and how you can join the Ready Hub community leader’s programme.
