Wows Warwick! Winner of the Rotherham
Ready Christmas card competition...
Cerris from Our Lady and
St Joseph’s Catholic Primary beat off competitors
from several other Rotherham Schools to be named the
winner of a prestigious Christmas Card Competition.
Her artistic design which had an ‘enterprising’ theme
will soon land on the doormats of key governmental figures, including
the Prime Minister.
Peter Stagg, from the Warwick University Centre for Education and
Industry, who organised the competition said:
“This Christmas card will go out to extremely important
people and it was a very hard choice because there were some fantastic
entries.”
Pupils from seven other Rotherham schools were highly commended
for their entries and Cerris, 9, said she had “no idea” that
her card would be the overall winner.
