Young Entrepreneurs themselves are the most valuable resource to teachers, schools and young people learning about enterprise. Rotherham Ready builds and maintains links between schools and Young Entrepreneurs.
Here you will find some inspiring lesson
plans and learning packs which could be the catalyst
for a flow of enterprise ideas to guide and engage your
pupils
Rotherham Ready has teamed up with Creative
Partnerships BDR to explore the different concepts of
enterprise, such as risk taking and creativity. Working
collaboratively with teachers and creative practitioners,
young people have been encouraged to bring these concepts
to life and communicate them using animation and graphic
design.

Over half of Rotherham’s schools
have now achieved the Warwick University, Excellence
in Enterprise Education Award and here you can see how
they did it. From wedding planning to vegetable growing,
this section has an array of school case studies to inspire
you.

Rotherham Ready has developed some fantastic
CPD opportunities with Sheffield Hallam University for
teachers and learning assistants who are delivering enterprise
education as part of the curriculum. Find out more about

Rotherham Ready and Warwick Centre for
Education and Industry have worked together to produce
a set of briefing papers to help schools on their way
with Enterprise education. Lots of hints and tips, examples
and some guidelines on best practice can be found here.
